Here's the best part. Even if you ar working with a small bathroom cabinet, there's almost always some leftover granite that you've paid for. You can let the granite shop throw it out, or you can make good use of it for accent pieces. This window originally had a wood window sill that was starting to cake up with paint over the years.

The old, original window sill was removed - chiseled off really, the base wood of the sill was left behind to be covered by the granite.

Accents like this are great for tying together features with style. This wasn't the only accent done in granite either. the shower soap dish was done in granite too - prompted mostly because the industry lacks sufficient off-the-shelf soap dish options.
